Afaupe Opeyemi Samuel hails from Nigeria from the state of Ogun where he was born on December 12th, 1989. In 2013. He received a National Diploma in Art and Industrial Design from Lagos State Polytechnic. After completing his Industrial Training Programme (IT) at the Universal Studies of Art, National Theater Lagos, he attained his Higher National Diploma (HND) in Painting in the same institution. He is a young, brilliant and prolific artist that experiments with several mediums. He has participated in various exhibitions, such as Eko art Expo oranized by the Lagos State Government in 2017, Ado Odo art group show organized by 9 artists at Kokopelli gallery in 2021. He is currently practicing as a full-time studio artist.
